Who is eligible to receive certification?

This certification course is designed for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). You must hold an active LVN license issued by the Board of Nursing in order to receive certification.


Can I enroll if I haven’t passed the NCLEX yet?

Yes, you may enroll and complete the course. However, your certification will not be processed, and your certification will not be issued until you pass the NCLEX and your LVN license is posted on the Board of Vocational Nursing (BVNPT) website.


How much does the course cost?

The course fee is $300, plus a $50 BVNPT processing fee for certification. The $50 is collected now and paid to the BVNPT by the course provider when submitting your certification.


What does the course include?

The course covers IV therapy, blood withdrawal procedures, safety protocols, infection control, complications, and hands-on skills practice.


When are specific details such start times, links, and instructions sent?

Once you have registered for your course, emails are sent with specifics for those dates. You can expect to attend the majority of the day.


Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes, once you successfully complete the course and your license is verified, you will receive your IV & Blood Withdrawal certification.


Is this course approved by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT)?

Yes, this is a CA state-approved post-graduate certification course for LVNs.


Do you offer payment plans?

Full payment is due at registration. At this time, payment plans are not available.


Where is the course held?

The theory class is held virtually via Zoom. The skills lab takes place in person at the California Country Club in Whittier, California.


What should I bring to class?

A valid photo ID. Nothing else is required; all materials and supplies will be provided.
